The Peso is getting stronger
The US Dollar is facing weakness in the markets. In the meantime, the Mexican Peso strengthens to $13.18 Pesos per US Dollar -a level not seen since the past year-.

Upbeat week for the markets.
The peso retail parity had a 2% recovery to the U.S. Dollar, and a 2.5% to the Euro; the Mexican Crude Oil price gained almost 3.5% getting closer to the US$70 per barrel; and the Mexican Stock Exchange experienced its best level in the last 12 months with a week gain of 4.2%.


 





Stock Exchange in Recovery Mode

The Mexican Stock Exchange Index has hit a year record over passing the 31,000 points. The Stock has reported a gain of 46% since Black October. The index is close to the historic record of 32,836 points made at the end of 2007.
